Our Capabilities

Concept Development

The Scope is clear now. Next: generating concepts. In this stage, D&E is busy figuring out how to create an optimal design  using the full range of freedom 3D printing has to offer.

Ideation

Whatever your goals for Additive Manufacturing are, you’ll only reach them if you design towards them from the start. By involving our design and engineering experts in your process of new idea creation you will allow yourselves to be exposed to a plethora of possibilities that are unique to Additive Manufacturing and to experience the design freedom that comes with 3D Printing.

Visualization

Visualization through visual imagery is indispensable to communicate your ideas at the early stages of development. Especially in the Additive Manufacturing solution space, a detailed computer-aided 3D picture says more than a 1000 words and may render additional insight as to the design intent of a candidate solution or concept.

Procedural modeling

Procedural modeling is an umbrella term for a number of techniques to produce 3D models by creating sets of rules rather than shaping or editing the model by user input.

This technique is often applied when the complexity or size of the desired 3D model is too cumbersome to be created using generic 3D modeling software. Or when the design exists out of repetitive tasks. Many different results can be generated out of the same ruleset by changing some input parameters. And the same ruleset can be applied or repeated on different input geometries.
