We accept payment by debit card, credit card, PayPal, and wire transfer.

Several factors determine whether you need to pay Value Added Tax (VAT) for orders on Materialise OnSite:

1. The availability of a valid VAT number (in case of business clients*)
2. The delivery destination of an order, and
3. The location of the invoicing office.

When you upload your file as standard, you will receive a quote instantly. If you need to request an offline quote for any reason, we will do our best to respond within one working day.

Once you have placed an order, only our customer service team can make any changes.

Please contact us if you would like to:

• Update files or change material, color, or finish: We will look into the status of your order and see if it is still possible to update the information. Please note that you can only change to materials or finishes in the same price range.
• Update your shipping information: If we haven’t prepared your order for shipment and the VAT (Value Added Tax) payment won't change, we can still update the information.
• Update your shipping method after placing an order.

You can cancel a recently placed order by directly replying to your order confirmation email. If printing has not yet started, our Customer Service team can cancel your order. Please note that our automated systems process orders quickly, so the time window before printing has started and when we can still accept cancellations is very short.

You can track the progress of your order in the ‘Orders’ section of your profile after logging in to OnSite. If your order status reads 'In production,' you will also see the estimated shipment date.

When your order is shipped, you will also see the UPS tracking number on this page and receive it via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor your package's status in transit.

We ship worldwide. However, our package delivery service may sometimes impose service limitations due to internal policies or international trade embargoes and economic sanctions. Any country that is not eligible for shipping will not appear in the 'Country' field drop-down during checkout.

Transit time depends on your order, though it is usually 1 – 5 days after shipping. Please note that we cannot guarantee how quickly the courier or customs will process your package. You can track your order using your UPS tracking number.

There are no duties or import taxes for orders sent to EU countries or the UK. Please consult this article for more information about charges for other countries.

We cannot combine separate orders into a single shipment — each order is handled individually. To save on shipping costs, we recommend printing all your parts in a single order.

After logging in to OnSite, you can follow your order’s progress anytime via the “My Orders” section of your account. Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number to monitor your package via UPS.

Yes. Our corporate policy ensures that all parts are treated as confidential unless specifically stated otherwise. In addition, uploads on Materialise OnSite take place in a secure environment.

If you would like to formalize a guarantee, you can request a copy of our mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) by emailing us at onsite@materialise.com.

You do. As the original designer, it’s only natural that you always keep the intellectual property rights (IPRs) to your design.

To protect the designs and intellectual property of yourself and others, we do not allow any designs on our site that violate third-party intellectual property rights. By submitting an order to Materialise OnSite, you confirm that you are the owner or that you have obtained the necessary rights to submit this order for a third party.

If a design submitted to Materialise OnSite risks infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties, we reserve the right to either not produce the design or produce it without the part that risks infringement. In other words, we won’t print designs that aren’t 100% owned by the person who uploads them.

By doing this, we also make sure that others cannot simply copy the designs you’ve created yourself.
