Software Development Engineer C++
Mimics Enlight CMF is a workflow-based software to plan the surgical treatment of cranio-maxillofacial procedures. First, users create 3D anatomical models by importing, visualizing, and segmenting medical images of the patient. Next, they plan the surgery with visualization and measurement tools. Last, the user designs personalized occlusal splints to transfer the plan to the operating room. The created models can be exported for 3D printing purposes. In this role, you'll develop the Mimics Enlight CMF workflows on the Mimics Enlight platform.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Take part in building and supporting cross-product platforms
- Code review and technical consultancies
- Write unit tests and documentation
- Proactively participate in requirements clarification, documentation, and the estimation process
- Develop Mimics Enlight CMF for the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems with a graphical user interface consistent with common Microsoft Windows applications
Your profile
- 2+ years of experience in C++ Software Development using modern standards (C++ 11,14,17)
- Knowledge of generic programming and templates, STL
- Basic knowledge of Git, CMake
- An agile/scrum mindset
- At least an upper-intermediate level of English
- Python experience is a plus
- Qt experience is plus
- UI programming experience is a plus
- JSON and JSON-schemas experience is a plus
