What you will do

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the aerospace, semiconductor, and medtech sectors
  • Analyze and interpret client technical requirements through feasibility studies
  • Match customer requirements to proposed solutions
  • Provide technical assistance and product education to external customers (e.g., explain additive manufacturing technologies, advise on DfAM, etc.)
  • Manage product definition dossiers and prepare projects for production (e.g., checklists, measurement report templates)
  • Follow up on active projects and manage customer complaints
  • Deliver technical presentations to demonstrate how products meet client needs 
  • Manage project costs and prepare reports and analyses
  • Negotiate contract terms to meet both client and company needs
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members to meet project goals
  • Achieve sales results and contribute to overall team success
  • Occasionally participate in marketing activities (e.g., trade fairs, events, conferences) and visit potential clients

Your profile

Requirements: 

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a technical role (young graduates may also be considered)
  • Proven experience as a sales engineer or sales specialist in the technical sector
  • Solid technical background with knowledge of manufacturing processes, products, and services
  • Experience in customer relationship management and forging long-lasting client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and strong initiative skills
  • General knowledge of project management
  • Willingness to acquire new knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical (engineering) field
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written); French or German is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Knowledge: 

  • Familiarity with ISO9001, EN9100, PPAP, and APQP standards
