Sales Engineer

What you will do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the aerospace, semiconductor, and medtech sectors
- Analyze and interpret client technical requirements through feasibility studies
- Match customer requirements to proposed solutions
- Provide technical assistance and product education to external customers (e.g., explain additive manufacturing technologies, advise on DfAM, etc.)
- Manage product definition dossiers and prepare projects for production (e.g., checklists, measurement report templates)
- Follow up on active projects and manage customer complaints
- Deliver technical presentations to demonstrate how products meet client needs
- Manage project costs and prepare reports and analyses
- Negotiate contract terms to meet both client and company needs
- Collaborate closely with internal team members to meet project goals
- Achieve sales results and contribute to overall team success
- Occasionally participate in marketing activities (e.g., trade fairs, events, conferences) and visit potential clients
Your profile
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a technical role (young graduates may also be considered)
- Proven experience as a sales engineer or sales specialist in the technical sector
- Solid technical background with knowledge of manufacturing processes, products, and services
- Experience in customer relationship management and forging long-lasting client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and organizational abilities
- Logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and strong initiative skills
- General knowledge of project management
- Willingness to acquire new knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical (engineering) field
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); French or German is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Knowledge:
- Familiarity with ISO9001, EN9100, PPAP, and APQP standards
