Sales Engineer — Series Manufacturing
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to reinforce our series manufacturing business line. As the primary technical contact for external customers, you will play a crucial role in managing projects, from feasibility assessment to series production. This role combines engineering expertise, analytical problem-solving, and customer service to ensure the successful delivery of aerospace parts and products.
What you will do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the aerospace, semiconductor, and medtech sectors
- Analyze and interpret clients' technical requirements through feasibility studies
- Match customer requirements to proposed solutions
- Provide technical assistance and product education to external customers (e.g., explain additive manufacturing technologies, advise on DfAM, etc.)
- Manage product definition dossiers and prepare projects for production (e.g., checklists, measurement report templates)
- Follow up on active projects and manage customer complaints
- Deliver technical presentations to demonstrate how products meet client needs
- Manage project costs and prepare reports and analyses
- Negotiate contract terms to meet both client and company needs
- Collaborate closely with internal team members to meet project goals
- Achieve sales results and contribute to overall team success
- Occasionally participate in marketing activities (e.g., trade fairs, events, conferences) and visit potential clients
Your profile
- A master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience through at least 1 to 3 years in a technical role
- Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes, products, and services
- A strong customer focus and experience in customer relationship management
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- A logical thinker with very good problem-solving skills
- Good general knowledge of project management
- Show eagerness to learn and take initiative
