Sales Development Representative
We're seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to drive lead generation and build a strong sales pipeline in the 3D printing and digital manufacturing space. You’ll connect with prospects, qualify leads, and collaborate with sales and marketing to fuel business growth.
What you will do
Lead generation and outreach
- Proactively identify and engage cold and warm leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
- Follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and digital channels
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
Prospecting and research
- Identify key decision-makers within target accounts across various industries relevant to Materialise's portfolio
- Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and trends
- Attend virtual tradeshows and events to network and generate leads
CRM management and data quality
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Regularly clean and enrich CRM data to ensure data quality and usability
- Track and report on lead status, touchpoints, and outcomes
Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and business development teams to align messaging and target efforts
- Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
- Contribute to strategy sessions on lead generation and pipeline growth
Your profile
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or lead generation role
- Proven track record of high-volume outbound prospecting and lead qualification
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, MS Dynamics preferred) and sales engagement platforms (LinkedIn SalesNavigator)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive in a remote environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially regarding CRM data care
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages (Italian, French) are a plus
- Familiarity with or interest in 3D printing, digital manufacturing, or engineering sectors is advantageous
