As a Sales Application Engineer Intern, you will support both commercial and technical activities by bridging customer needs with medical software solutions. This hybrid role offers hands-on exposure to application engineering, customer-facing support, and internal processes, making it an excellent learning opportunity for students interested in healthcare technology. 

What you will do

  • Support the sales and application engineering teams in deploying and demonstrating medical software solutions
  • Assist in tailoring software applications to meet clinical and customer-specific needs
  • Review, update, and improve software training materials and documentation
  • Document workflows and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and usability
  • Support onboarding and software deployment activities for new customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support

  • Tailoring medical software solutions to meet clinical and customer needs
  • Internal tools and workflows used within application engineering roles

Your profile

  • This internship is open exclusively to students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in biomedical sciences, medical technology, engineering, or a related field
  • Comfortable working with software applications; basic coding knowledge is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal
  • Analytical and structured thinking to support medical and technical challenges
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and processes
  • Proactive, curious, and motivated to gain hands-on industry experience

Example projects

  • Reviewing and updating software training and onboarding content
  • Documenting existing processes and suggesting improvements
  • Assisting in the deployment of software solutions for new customers
