Job description
We’re looking for a dynamic and goal-oriented Account Manager to expand Materialise Motion’s footprint in the orthotics and broader medical device industry across North America. You’ll play a critical role in growing our customer base, nurturing relationships, and ensuring long-term success through tailored solutions. This is a remote/hybrid position with up to 30% travel for industry events, trade shows, and customer visits.
What you will do
Business development and sales execution
- Identify and engage potential new customers through effective outreach and networking
- Drive the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and deal closure
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets aligned with company objectives
Account management and customer success
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of healthcare clients with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Deliver tailored solutions and serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline in the CRM system
Collaboration and strategic alignment
- Collaborate closely with our North American team to enhance the performance of assigned accounts
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Represent Materialise at trade shows, conferences, and client events
Connect to your target audience
- Develop strong partnerships with a variety of healthcare professionals, including podiatrists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) professionals
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, kinesiology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of successful sales experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in orthotics or medical device sales
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the healthcare sector
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing
- Strong presentation skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or equivalent)
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a home-office setting
