Account Manager — CMF
Materialise is a global leader in additive manufacturing and the development of software solutions for 3D printing. In the field of medical technology, we support hospitals and research institutes with advanced 3D software, patient-specific implants, and specialized services. We also partner with medtech companies that use our software and expertise to improve the healthcare of tomorrow. To strengthen our medical sales team in Germany, we are looking for a new team member to join us as an Account Manager for CMF.
What you will do
- Sell CMF implants (standard and customized) to (university) hospitals in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
- Actively generate new sales opportunities to expand the business, and take responsibility for the existing customers in the hospitals
- Actively contribute to achieving strategic goals and sales targets
- Actively search for synergies for joint sales approaches with account managers of other business lines
- Build a network within the target hospitals and establish yourself as a trusted advisor
- Gather updates on current market trends and competitive situations
- Work closely with international colleagues, particularly with the Belgian team, who will provide content support
- Provide regular and quarterly reports on sales results, the pipeline, etc., to the line manager
Your profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; experience in selling medical technology products or customized implants is desirable
- Ideally, a completed technical degree or vocational training in medical technology, business, or a comparable qualification from the healthcare sector
- An open-minded personality who easily builds relationships, is highly motivated to succeed, and is eager for continuous learning and development
- Strong networking skills and an analytical mindset
- Willingness to travel within the defined territory and occasionally to our headquarters in Belgium
- Excellent self-organization skills and enjoyment of independent and international work
- Excellent German and good English skills
- Confident in using MS Office
