Receptionist

As a receptionist, you are the first point of contact for customers and colleagues. With a professional, friendly reception and a hands-on mentality, you contribute to smooth internal operations and a positive image of Materialise.

What you will do

  • Telephony: handle incoming calls correctly and contact the appropriate department
  • Provide a friendly welcome and check-in for visitors
  • Create access badges for visitors and employees according to the correct procedures
  • Assist colleagues and clients with questions/problems
  • Stay alert to any internal challenges and ensure timely communication with the relevant team members or departments
  • Execute internal requests: taxis, lunches, office supplies, etc.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Lend and monitor company equipment and pool cars
  • Provide administrative support to internal departments
  • Assist with travel arrangements: booking trains, flights, hotels

Your profile

  • You have previous experience as a receptionist/front desk employee
  • You are strong in communication: fluent in Dutch and a good knowledge of English (French or German is a plus)
  • You have administrative skills and general IT knowledge (use of Microsoft Office,..)
  • You have a systematic approach with attention to punctuality and accuracy
  • You are flexible and can easily prioritize and maintain an overview
  • You are independent, solution-oriented, and motivated to optimize reception operations

  • 60% (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday)
