We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Manager to lead and own our global quality management system across multiple sites, driving excellence and compliance.

Job description

As Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will be responsible for global quality management of the Materialise Manufacturing division, taking direct lead in our production in Leuven, Belgium, and supporting local quality leads in our offices in Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. You will establish, maintain, and improve a global quality management system in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EN 9100, EASA Part 21G, and Materialise’s corporate procedures. You will create a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the division, empowering people at all levels to take ownership of quality.

What you will do

  • Own and lead the Materialise Manufacturing quality management system (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, EN 9100, EASA Part 21G, and relevant industry certifications
  • Govern the document management system (IQVIA) that supports our QMS
  • Serve as a safety and compliance manager according to EASA Part 21G
  • Act as divisional process owner for non‑conformance (NC) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes (IQVIA)
  • Lead the complaint management process, including root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D), and collaboration with operations and sales. 
  • Handle CAPAs, G8Ds
  • Together with process owners, make the quality of current processes and results products visible, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Organize and coordinate internal audits, and serve as the main contact for external audits with certifying bodies and customers
  • Provide supplier quality expertise and guide customer qualification processes
  • Train and coach teams in implementing good practices and fostering a culture of quality

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in engineering
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in a senior quality role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with managing teams is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100, experience with EASA Part 21G certification is a significant advantage
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and perseverance
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • Strong communicator — able to engage effectively with technical teams, operational staff, and customers
  • Collaborative leader — fostering cross‑departmental improvements and alignment with corporate quality strategy
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to embedding quality into every process
