We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support the growth of our dynamic medical department and help manage the people strategy across diverse geographies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about shaping talent in a rapidly growing, global business environment.

Job description

As an HR Business Partner for the medical unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising the management team and line managers as the business unit scales. This role will involve working closely with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, fostering talent development, and ensuring the HR function supports the fast-paced growth of the unit. You will help build and nurture a high-performance culture while advising on all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition to performance management and organizational development.

What you will do

  • Advise and coach the management team and line managers within the medical unit on HR-related matters, such as performance management, career development, employee engagement, coaching, and disciplinary actions
  • Collaborate with the vice president of the medical unit and senior leaders to prepare for and participate in management meetings, addressing HR topics such as hiring, talent development, coaching, and succession planning
  • Manage and provide leadership to the HR business partners in the countries where the medical unit operates, ensure HR strategy alignment across regions, and foster a collaborative and cohesive team globally
  • Actively drive organizational design and workforce planning initiatives to align with the medical unit's strategic goals, lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions, and provide support to the business throughout the process
  • Work closely with leadership to define talent needs and create strategies for recruitment, onboarding, and retention in alignment with the unit’s growth plans; support the design and execution of training and development programs
  • Partner with the global HR expert teams (talent acquisition, reward, talent management) to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and implement HR solutions that support the unit’s expansion

Your profile

  • Master’s degree, ideally in business studies, psychology, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as an HR business partner or in a similar HR role, ideally within a rapidly growing, innovative technology or medical company
  • Experience working in both office and production environments, supporting both white-collar and blue-collar employees
  • Strong organizational and team-oriented skills, with the ability to drive initiatives across multiple teams
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and anticipate business needs
  • A forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to contribute to long-term planning and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to navigate complex environments and adapt strategies to changing business conditions
  • Experience managing and leading teams of HR professionals across multiple regions
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
