Medical Account Manager (SEA)
Do you enjoy selling technical solutions in the biomedical industry? Have you used 3D medical modeling software? Do you enjoy helping people advance in medical device design and research? Then, you are just the person we're looking for. We have a great opportunity in our Malaysian Office for an Account Manager.
What you will do
- Serve as an ambassador for the Materialise Medical mission, aiming to make personalized medicine accessible to everyone through personalized 3D planning and 3D printing
- Sales to existing and new customers in universities, hospitals, and medical device companies within your region by actively nurturing existing contacts and seeking opportunities to expand our relationships within and across your business scope
- Collaborate with colleagues from various departments, including inside sales, application engineers, and others
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, identify unmet needs, and create value for their organizations
- Facilitate the adoption of our technology across various medical specialties in hospitals, research groups, and medical device companies
- Build a network within the top universities, hospitals, and companies in your region and become a trusted advisor to them
- Take ownership of set objectives and the corporate strategy; develop and execute a plan to manage your daily activities effectively
- Report to the sales manager based in Australia
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience in "complex" sales and/or business development, preferably covering the SEA region
- Experience conducting successful online sales calls and field sales work
- Possesses an outgoing personality, easily builds rapport, highly motivated to succeed, and open to continuous learning and development
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving organization
- Willingness to travel regularly (30%)
- Additional advantages include previous experience in software sales and the medical field
- Highly interested in medical and/or biomedical sciences
- Strong networking skills
- Developed skillset in social selling
- Analytical mindset
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of any additional languages useful for regional sales is a plus
