Marketing Specialist

In this role, you will support the US Marketing Managers in crafting and executing marketing strategies that propel Materialise USA's mission of enhancing patient outcomes through cutting-edge 3D technology and personalized medical solutions.
Job description
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies. You will be responsible for creating effective content and messaging based on the needs of internal clients and the target market. This role requires a passion for event coordination and a well-rounded knowledge of marketing to support digital marketing, content development, and sales collaboration. You will report to the US Medical Sales Director and work out of our US headquarters in Plymouth, MI. Please note that relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this position.
What you will do
- Plan and organize tradeshow participation, corporate events, and client events. This includes pre-event marketing, post-event follow-up, logistics, and reporting. Ensure all events align with the company’s branding and marketing strategies.
- Sales and marketing coordination and tool optimization, as decided by sales and marketing leadership.
- Complete assignments and provide support in executing marketing projects. This includes developing marketing actions, content, and creative messaging based on business needs and target audience analysis.
- Create marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and web pages, ensuring they align with standards and corporate identity.
- Prepare and support the implementation of advertising, promotional, and commercial activities to ensure that marketing plans can be realized.
- Monitor the timing and budgets of advertising, promotional, and commercial activities to ensure efficient execution within set limits.
- Implement systems to capture all event leads and ensure they are available for further follow-up by the sales team.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in marketing, public relations, or communications preferred
- One to two years of marketing experience required, with some experience in public relations preferred
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with graphic skills required
- Strong writing and/or copywriting skills are a plus
- Excellent communicator with social media experience
- Ability to multi-task and execute projects independently
- Energetic with a positive attitude
- Organized, self-motivated
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%)
- This will be a hybrid role. Must be able to commute to US headquarters located in Plymouth, MI. Must be in the office at least two full days per week, with Mondays being mandatory.
