We're seeking passionate professionals to join our growing team, particularly in CMF and orthopaedic solutions. As an Account Manager, you would build strategic partnerships to expand Materialise’s presence in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. 

What you will do

  • Define the CMF (cranio-maxillofacial) and orthopaedic regional sales strategy together with the product manager and sales manager
  • Manage to achieve the sales targets on the regional CMF and orthopaedics business line, working in tandem with the device and software account managers
  • Become an ambassador for Materialise: embodying our mission of “a better and healthier world,” promoting our 3D personalized services and implants, as well as our standard range in CMF and orthopaedic surgery
  • Take responsibility for sales to existing and new customers in hospitals within your region, actively following up on existing contacts and looking for opportunities to expand our business
  • Gain a deep understanding of the customer situation, explore unmet needs, and create value for surgeons, hospitals, and patients. Your main contacts are surgeons, pharmacists, sterilization staff, and surgical theater staff 
  • Actively look for synergies with software sales, together with the respective account managers
  • Understand the logistical flow of a hospital and organize the use of our solutions in the operating theater 
  • Build a network within the top target hospitals in your region and become a trusted advisor in CMF and orthopaedics
  • Take ownership of set objectives and corporate strategy to create and execute a plan to manage your daily activities
  • Report to the sales manager at HQ

Your profile

  •  Ideally, you live in Sweden
  • You have 2 to 5 years’ sales experience in CMF and/or orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, or another surgical specialty involving medical device sales
  • You have an existing hospital network in Norway or Sweden with a preference in the field of CMF or orthopaedic surgery (strong plus)
  • You have a hunter profile with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality who can easily create rapport, is highly motivated to succeed, and is open to continuous learning and development
  • You are able to work autonomously in a fast-moving organization
  • You are able to travel very regularly in Sweden and Norway
  • You are able to be present in the operating theater during surgical procedures
  • You have a very good knowledge of Swedish (Norwegian or Finnish is a plus)
