With every patient’s anatomy being unique, the outcome of structural heart interventions depends heavily on the interaction between the device and that specific patient. As a leader in personalized computational modeling and simulation for trans-catheter structural heart interventions, FEops applies routine preoperative imaging data to predict the device position and deformation.

With their CE-marked TAVI guide, which allows to predict serious complications such as PVL and conduction abnormalities, FEops brings science to procedure planning as opposed to traditional measuring on anatomy. About the speaker

Prior to co-founding FEops, Prof. Dr. Ir. De Beule completed his degree in Engineering at Ghent University in 2002 and gained his Ph.D. in 2008 for his research on cardiovascular device and procedure modeling.
