Materialise is excited to announce the addition of nine Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) machines to our production line-up, bringing our total capacity to 31 machines. With the addition of two MC900, three MC400, and four MC250 machines, we respond on the growing demand for manufacturing components with demanding material requirements. In addition, the MC900 machines, with a build envelope of 914 x 610 x 914 mm (36 x 24 x 36 inches), are the largest FDM machines on the market, enabling the creation of high quality ABS, PC or PC/ABS parts that are bigger than ever.
One of the most exciting art projects happening in the Dutch province of Limburg today can be found on the 16th floor of the newly completed Innovatoren in Venlo. As part of Floriade 2012: the World Horticultural Expo, Ptah art advisors, Daan de Haan Design and Akarton came together under the name of Combined Innovative Art (CIA) and their aim was to combine Sustainability, Innovation, and Alienation through the three unique works of art on display in the Innovatoren.
Materialise, world leader in software for additive manufacturing (AM), has made another important advancement in the AM industry. As AM is finding its rightful place in the manufacturing world, additional tools are required to drive efficiency throughout the process.
