Webinar
The Key to Minimizing Investment Risk with Additive Manufacturing
About this webinar
Bart Van der Schueren, Materialise’s Chief Technology Officer, highlights where businesses need to focus in order to safeguard their investments in product development.
As businesses face rising financial pressures, cuts in new development can be expected across industries. Quick wins on cost cuts are tempting: but they come at a strategic cost, argues Bart Van der Schueren. A smart use of AM, as detailed by the advisory service of Materialise Mindware, can shed new light on product development and market introduction of new products without the need for capital expenditure commitments. By using AM right, capex can be postponed until there is a clear view on market acceptance of an in-development product, resulting in a hugely valuable de-risking exercise for the capex.
