Forging the Future of 3D Printing

We believe it’s essential to be transparent about our goals, targets, policies, and emissions to demonstrate additive manufacturing’s (AM’s) capabilities and increase its adoption rate. Our aim is to ensure sustainability is firmly embedded in everything we do. And we’ll continue proactively informing our customers, partners, and suppliers about how we’ll achieve our aims via our website.

Transparent, collaborative sustainability

We collaborate with various organizations to demonstrate transparency. For more information, visit our company profiles:

Conflict minerals policy

Materialise is conscious that a limited number of its products may contain 3TG. Examples of products incorporating one or more of these elements include consumer goods printed via our i.materialise online 3D printing platform, surgical microdissection dissectors manufactured at Materialise Brazil, select metal components produced at Materialise Germany, and castings in specific alloys created at ACTech.

Therefore, it is our policy:

  • A cross-functional team oversees conflict minerals compliance, identifies and assesses the risks and supports supply chain due diligence.
  • We continue to strengthen engagement with suppliers and subcontractors regarding the necessary 3TG.
  • We encourage suppliers and subcontractors to source from smelters or refiners that are certified as conflict-free by an independent third party.
  • We communicate our sourcing expectations and conflict minerals policy to potential new suppliers and subcontractors.
  • We conduct annual due diligence on our supply chain and publicly report it to the SEC
