Everything about it was impressive, the setting, the music, the shrink-wrapped models, and of course, the 3D-printed, flexible dress!
In March of last year, Materialise announced the official launch of a new, highly flexible and durable material for 3D Printing (Laser Sintering to be precise): TPU 92A-1, or Rubber-Like for our i.materialise users.
Encouraged to push their creative limits and ignore ‘impossible’ construction barriers, ten designers took part in a special workshop to see how 3D Printing can transform their artistic potential.
Back in the 90s, a team from Materialise set out to achieve quite a large goal – a mammoth goal one might say (if they were drawn to puns).
