Recently, we brought our Metal AM Academy to India and Singapore to further educate local metal users on the Metal AM process. The transfer of knowledge allowed the participants to use their machines better and grow their expertise.
March 17, 2016 marked the first Metal Day held by Materialise in Asia Pacific. Held at Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore, one of the leading institutes driving Additive Manufacturing in Asia, it was a day filled with fascinating presentations and workshops about metal 3D Printing, the hottest topic in the 3D printing industry right now.
3D Printing is an innovative technology, but it can still use some further tweaking and innovation to continue evolving and developing exciting products. The Nanyang Polytechnic, one of the five institutes of technology in Singapore, has taken on the mission of promoting and stimulating the widespread adoption of 3D Printing. Their innovation center has been transforming the 3D printing landscape in Asia for 15 years now, and the Materialise software team is glad to support their production process with our automation and control software!
