What do the videocassette recorder, compact disc player, high-definition television and blu-ray disc all have in common? They are all products that have become household items after their debut at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES for short).

Showcasing novel applications of all things related to electronics and technology, CES draws a crowd just as enthusiastic as the ones that would attend the World’s Fairs back in the early- to mid-20th century to get a sneak peek of what the next big product will be for the next year.

For the 2015 edition from January 6th to 9th, TCT+personalize will host an entire track dedicated to 3D Printing on Wednesday, January 7th in The Venetian, with none other than Materialise’s CEO Fried Vancraen kicking off the afternoon session. From 1:00-2:00 p.m., Fried will talking about “3D Printing’s Current Killer Apps”, discussing why the myth that 3D Printing is a technology missing a "killer" application is far from true. Come to the session to find out how 3D Printing is making a real difference in the way we live today that’s likely to shape your future.

We’re also in the midst of getting our booth ready (number 72214) in the Sands Expo. Along with showing our newest and latest developments (stay tuned to our blog to find out what we will unveil!) we’ll have some iPads there so that people can test out some 3D Printing apps such as Toyze and Twikit and explain all that 3D Printing can do for you.

A big thanks for everyone at TCT+personalize for organizing the 3D printing session and the entire CES team for all their hard work. We look forward to seeing everyone there in just a few weeks!
