A buzz of excitement was in the air the air the evening of April 23rd. Guests from the Materialise World Conference were walking one block from the SQUARE to the BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts to join the official opening of the exhibition: "MAKING A DIFFERENCE / A DIFFERENCE IN MAKING", curated by Marta Malé-Alemany and produced by Materialise to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 3D printing pioneer.

At the opening reception BOZAR Director General Paul Dujardin, Materialise CEO Fried Vancraen, and the exhibition’s curator, Marta Malé-Alemany introduced the exhibition, and then guests were invited to discover a production technology that allows us to make things differently, and also ponder how it can help individuals, enable social changes and positively contribute to the environment.

In other words, how 3D Printing is making a difference. The exhibition features 3D-printed works of art, design, engineering and scientific fields by renowned artists, designers, public initiatives and prestigious research institutions, as well as by unknown innovative makers.

Why not come and see the exhibition in person? Come and see it at the BOZAR Center for Fine Arts in Brussels until June 7th!
