Learning goals
- We can get you on track by increasing your productivity with the Mimics Innovation Suite. During our training program, you will learn more about how Mimics can be used for Engineering on Anatomy. These training courses are ideal for both beginners looking to get an introduction to the robust toolbox and more experienced users looking to optimize their current workflow.
Training format
- In-person training
- 8 hour training session from 8:30am-4:30pm EST or EDT
- This training is part of a 3-part series that can be done over 3 consecutive days. The 3-parts include Mimics Base, Scripting, FEA/CFD & Analysis modules, and Design & CAD Link modules. It is not mandatory to join all three sessions.
Course topics
From data to 3D model
Learn how to import DICOM data from medical imaging modalities like CT and MRI, then convert those images into a 3D model.
Segmentation fundamentals and applications
Discover the fundamentals of segmentation on a broad range of anatomies, including orthopaedic, cranio-maxillofacial, and cardiovascular applications.
Prepare your 3D model for printing
Practice the basics of optimizing a part for 3D printing.
