Materialise Standard+ Solutions
Orthognathics module
Materialise Standard+ Solutions for orthognathic surgery include a range of ready-to-use plates, screws, and instruments that perfectly complement and support a variety of Materialise Personalized Solutions. The solutions can be tailored to the users’ needs and habits thanks to the complementarity of two modules: Orthognathics and Orthognathics+.
The Orthognathics module covers all essential needs in orthognathic surgery with a comprehensive set of plates and screws.
Orthognathics+ module
The Orthognathics+ module is an add-on solution to the Orthoganthics module. It is an advanced solution to cover more sophisticated needs in orthognathic surgery with more plating options such as different thicknesses, pre-shaped plates for Le Fort I osteotomies, and more.
The S-plate
This unique S-plate saves time and avoids tolerating any approximation on the occlusion when performing bilateral sagittal split osteotomy. It does not require screw manipulation for position adjustment and offers proven biomechanical reliability. The S-plate allows rapid millimeter adjustment (length and angle) with dedicated pliers to fine-tune the occlusal result. This feature reduces surgical time when the occlusion is not perfect at the release step. The S-plate is part of the Orthognathics module.
Benefits
Ease of use
The screws and plates are color-coded for easier and quicker identification of the devices and for better communication in the OR.
State-of-the-art technology
Excellent and consistent screwdriver — screw retention and self-drilling performance.
Flexibility
Asymmetric straight plates for more flexibility to avoid tooth roots.
