Materialise Magics

Educational Plan

Empower future innovators with our industry-leading AM software

Additive manufacturing (AM) is revolutionizing the way we design, create, and innovate — and we’re here to help you empower the engineers of tomorrow. The Magics Educational Plan brings our powerful AM software to the classroom, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Shape the next generation of 3D printing innovators with Magics.

What’s included in the plan?

Access Magics software for less

Work with our award-winning software at a reduced cost compared to our plans for enterprise businesses.

Leverage Magics' modules

Import files, nest parts, create lightweight structures, generate supports, and send printing instructions to 3D printers.

Flexible licensing arrangement

Access three-year annual licenses, a floating license installation, and flexible user-based licenses for Magics and 3-matic.

Why AM?

AM is a growing trend in manufacturing

Companies need skilled AM employees

Manufacturers know the value of AM

AM's usage is expanding

Why Magics?

Industry-leading

Magics is the most powerful data and build prep software on the market. Provide your students with vital knowledge of how to use our industry-leading AM software in a controlled environment.

Gain advanced control over workflows

Teach advanced processes, such as automating repetitive tasks, and help your students increase print success rates for metal and polymer builds. Prepare them for whatever office or production environment they'll face after graduation.

Technology-neutral

Magics works with various 3D printers and AM equipment to meet your requirements. Take the complexity out of AM and guide your pupils through our powerful software trusted by partners throughout the industry.

Optimize and automate repetitive tasks

Teach students how to reduce lead times, human error, and excessive manual effort with our workflow automation software. Make support generation, nesting, and labeling easier, and use simulation to demonstrate how to improve first-time-right prints.

I decided to introduce it [the SG+ module] into our course [at Nanyang Polytechnic] so students could learn advanced features and increase their metal AM knowledge. The module is perfect for unlocking sophisticated metal AM designs and support optimization.
