The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations for the Mimics Enlight product. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless integration, delivery, and deployment of desktop software solutions while continuously optimizing the development lifecycle. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

What you will do

  • Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline the build, test, and release processes for the Mimics Enlight product
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the seamless integration of new code and features into the products
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of build environments and deployment processes, ensuring high system stability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards and best practices to maintain quality and regulatory adherence

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines (or equivalent platforms)
  • Experience with Git and a deep understanding of version control workflows
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools
  • Experience in at least one scripting language (preferably Python) or the ability to quickly learn it
  • Hands-on experience in managing enterprise-level Windows environments and deploying Windows Hosts and leveraging PowerShell automation to enhance system reliability and security
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • At least an upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English  

Plus points: 

  • Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and their application in software development and deployment
  • Experience working with YAML for configuration and pipeline management
  • Previous experience as a software engineer or familiarity with software engineering workflows
  • Understanding of CMake files and their role in build automation for C++ projects
  • Practical experience with an enterprise virtualization platform (VMware vSphere, Proxmox, or similar), including VM provisioning, resource allocation, and snapshot management
