The implants and accessories are delivered non-sterile. You will receive the sterilization instructions that clearly explain how the implants and accessories need to be sterilized. If you need these instructions upfront, contact your local sales representative in one of our offices or email cmf@materialise.be.

Yes, a module with screws and instruments is delivered together with the personalized implants if no consignment set is available in the hospital. If a consignment set is available at the hospital, screws and instruments can be used from the consignment set.

Materialise SurgiCase is an online case management system that enables clinicians to totally streamline and simplify the planning and ordering process for personalized guides and implants. 

Materialise Surgicase is a web-based tool, with your personal account. To get access to this platform, please fill in this contact form. Once your account is set, open a web browser and go to https://surgicaseoos.materialise.com to log in.

Image data is uploaded directly to the patient case via Materialise SurgiCase. Image upload can be done by a surgeon, radiology, or other staff. Please refer to the Materialise SurgiCase User Guide for Image Upload in the “Help” menu in the SurgiCase platform for more information or contact us at cmf@materialise.be for more information

If your (CB)CT scan meets the requirements stipulated by the Materialise CMF Scan Protocol, we will reach out to you within 24 hours after the upload of the scan data to schedule a planning session. After the planning session, you will receive a detailed overview of the surgical plan and personalized guides and/or implant designs in Materialise SurgiCase for review. When the surgical plan and personalized guides and/or implant designs are approved, the delivery time will depend on the type of products ordered. Take into account a delivery timeline after approval of 1-2 weeks.

It is advised to use any personalized solution within 6 months of performing the (CB)CT scan on which they are based. If the patient’s anatomy has changed significantly since the time of the CT scan, the guides, models, and implant should not be used, even if the time period of 6 months has not expired.
