Technical Lead (.NET)

What you will do

  • Apply your creative problem-solving skills to design and develop new features as the platform expands and matures
  • Be part of an agile development team that is responsible for converting its backlog into deployable features
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of these features
  • Contribute to the reduction of bugs and technical debt
  • Utilize the latest tools and technologies to deliver a world-class product
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills
  • Lead and coach a team of developers
  • Continually learn to keep skills up to date with fast-changing trends
  • Consider yourself passionate about or having an interest in 3D printing

Your profile

  • Programming language – C#, Typescript
  • Strong in Core .NET fundamentals and object-oriented programming
  • Good understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Good understanding of web service programming
  • Good understanding of communication protocols and methodologies such as gRPC, OpenAPI, and REST
  • Experience with Entity Framework and SQL
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies like TDD
  • Working knowledge and understanding of data models, databases e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL Server
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to coach and guide junior team members
  • 5+ years of experience and/or an advanced degree in a relevant field of education is preferred
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.) is preferred
  • Knowledge of agile development principles is preferred
  • Experience with at least 1 code versioning system (Git, SVN, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies is preferred
  • Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills is preferred
