Job description

In this role, you’ll manage a multi-technology team, driving daily operations, monitoring performance, and developing systems to track and continuously improve output and efficiency. Working closely with Data Preparation, QC/Finishing, and Maintenance, you’ll be the bridge that ensures alignment, smooth workflows, and mechanical excellence.   If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork and structure, and are ready to lead by example — this is your opportunity to make an impact. 

What you will do

  • Ensure an optimal distribution of tasks
  • Be responsible for the hands-on aspects of the 3D printing process 
  • Stage machines for new builds and process finished jobs (all handling related to raw materials and all steps leading up to the handover of parts to the QC or finishing team) 
  • Work closely with Data Preparation and QC/Finishing, and maintain a close collaboration with the Maintenance Team to ensure optimal mechanical performance of the machines 
  • Manage the different technology teams in their day-to-day business and follow up on the performance of the team members 
  • Coach, cross-train, and motivate direct reports to improve the performance and efficiency of the team  
  • Follow-up on KPI’s 

Your profile

  • 5-7+ years in a manufacturing or production environment  
  • Prior experience in team supervision  
  • Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing principles  
  • Able to act under time pressure or stressful situations 
  • PC skills: MS Office, Outlook, and open to learn new software programs  

Technical skills:  

  • Production processes: understanding of manufacturing workflow and quality standards 
  • Health and safety compliance  

Leadership and management:

  • Team supervision, conflict resolution, time management, training and development  
  • Able to take responsibility and ownership, and make decisions 

Soft skills: 

  • A good team player and a great communicator
  • Hands-on, practical attitude. Solution-oriented and continuous improvement mindset
  • Disciplined in procedural follow-up. Quality and customer-oriented mindset 
  • Proficient in Dutch and English
