Intern — Software Test Engineer (6 Months)
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer Intern to help us create cutting-edge medical software — Mimics, an industry-standard 3D medical image segmentation tool.
What you will do
- Update test scenarios and test plans from acceptance criteria
- Execute manual regression and exploratory tests
- Register defects in Azure DevOps (or similar) and verify fixes
- Keep test documentation up to date: cases, checklists, traceability
- Perform early checks for stories in development and clarify acceptance criteria
- Prepare test data and support test environment setup
Your profile
- Student or graduate in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or a related field. Veterans who have completed QA courses are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of software testing (test types, SDLC, bug lifecycle)
- Able to write clear test cases and bug reports
- Detail-oriented, curious, proactive; good teamwork skills
- English proficiency (minimum B2) for working in a multinational team
Will be a plus points (but not mandatory):
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Basics of Python (unittest/pytest) for simple automation
- Experience testing desktop or web apps, Git basics
