Software Functional Analyst
Are you passionate about innovation and 3D printing? Join us as a Software Functional Analyst! You'll join the team responsible for all Build Processor solutions, cross-platform integrations, software development kits for toolpath generation and on-machine execution, and contributing to our pre-print product line.
What you will do
- Use your software product and analysis expertise to serve as the link between the end users and the software product development team
- Translate market/customer/user needs or requirements into functional requirements for software development
- Prepare documentation for the software development teams about these features to ensure a clear understanding of what should be implemented in the next software product
- Provide third-line support
- Conduct technical competition analysis and benchmarking as requested
- Document and elicit functional and non-functional requirements, including their acceptance criteria, to ensure the development team has a detailed understanding of expected deliverables
- Collaborate with the product owner and market team to represent internal and external customers through regular direct contact with users, ensuring a clear understanding of how they use the software
- Contribute to the product kit by providing the technical details needed to create the user manuals and release notes
- Contribute to UI and UX design for your software product and assistance from the UI/UX expert in your team
- Provide support to customers when they have technical questions about the software or report problems
- Conduct technical (performance, features, etc.) benchmarking of our products against competitors as part of roadmaps/strategy and document the results to share with the requesting party
Your profile
- Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or similar, or you have acquired an equivalent level through experience
- 3+ years of work experience in software development
- Experienced in agile development methodologies (we are using SAFe)
- Proficient in English
- Familiarity with 3D printing toolpath generation workflows, the 3MF file format, and/or domain modeling is a plus
