Senior Software Engineer

What you will do
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
- Directly impact the company’s ability to help clients gain control over their manufacturing floor as they scale up their additive manufacturing capability into volume production
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to design and develop new features as the CO-AM platform expands and matures
- Be part of an agile development team that is responsible for converting its backlog into deployable features
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of these features
- Contribute to the reduction of bugs and technical debt
- Utilize the latest tools and technologies to deliver a world-class product
- Exhibit technical leadership and project management expertise, leading the design and development of cutting-edge solutions to elevate the CO-AM platform
- This position manages three software development engineers; partial remote work is allowed, reporting two days to the office per week
Your profile
- Requires a master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related
- Requires 4 years of experience
- Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Java; Spring Boot; JPA; Maven Gradle; REST API; Java Spring Boot; Hibernate ORM; Java/Typescript; HTML/CSS; SQL Server; Jenkins; Containerization; Cloud Computing (AWS); and Git
