You will join the Global Materialise environment, covering around 20 sites across the world and protecting around 2,000+ workstations and 600+ servers.

What you will do

  • Provide ownership for our network and security infrastructure with a strong focus on endpoint security
  • Guide the implementation of security measures in different areas
  • Enforce governance and provide support and operational escalation for the production security environment
  • Translate regulatory compliance requirements into implementation actions
  • Design a secure framework in which the business is allowed to navigate
  • Manage and coordinate critical incidents
  • Join the Cyberguard Network Defense Team, responsible for defining security measures and supporting the Global Security Infrastructure within Materialise
  • Help build the long-term security strategy and design to support Materialise business
  • Be responsible for driving secure infrastructure implementation and testing practices to protect our commercial and internal applications and data
  • Work closely with all global IT infrastructure teams as well as with the application and development teams
  • Work closely with management to establish and deliver consistent technical direction and identify opportunities to improve and use new networking/security-related technologies to meet or exceed business requirements

Your profile

  • You are keenly interested in a security-first approach with a strong focus on endpoint security
  • You have a master's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent by experience
  • You have 2-3 years of experience in a security environment, relevant security certifications are an added value
  • You have a notion of IT security standards and information security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, NIS, or CIF
  • You are a critical thinker, pragmatic, and self-organized
  • You have strong team player skills but can also work on your own initiative
  • You are fluent in English and a strong negotiator
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You possess a good knowledge of at least three of the following product technologies: cloud (AWS, Azure), endpoint protection, privileged management, next-generation firewalling, security incident management
