Salesforce Chapter Lead
We are looking for an experienced Chapter Lead to lead a team of professional developers and business analysts implementing Salesforce for internal needs. The Salesforce Chapter Lead will drive the professional development of chapter members while enhancing collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment with organizational goals. This role combines hands-on expertise with people leadership. In this role, you will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, developers, architects, and external vendors.
What you will do
- Manage and develop a team of Salesforce developers and business analysts (guiding team members' professional growth and skill development, conducting one-on-ones, performance reviews, etc.)
- Work with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to introduce innovations that enhance team capabilities
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Salesforce development within the company
- Maintain comprehensive communication with IT and business stakeholders on planning, prioritization, and conflict resolution
- Identify and mitigate implementation risks, including resource constraints and cross-technology challenges
- Ensure the right people with the right skills are in place
Your profile
- 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role in a software development environment, with 2+ years of experience managing Salesforce implementation
- Experience managing teams with at least 5 members
- Strong people management and change management skills
- Hands-on experience in different delivery methodologies (Agile/SAFe, Waterfall)
- Strong experience in software project UAT organization and rollout for distributed locations
- Expertise in planning and prioritizing conflicting requirements (balancing maintenance and new features)
- At least an upper intermediate level of English
- Willing to collaborate with both business and developers
- Critical thinking and detail-oriented
- Self-organized
