Research Engineer (AI)

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can investigate state-of-art machine learning based medical image processing methods? Do you like being involved in the entire process from establishing requirements all the way to packaging your algorithm for deployment? Then our research engineer position might be suited for you!

What you will do

  • Scope projects in terms of feasibility and requirements
  • Collect user requirements
  • Analyze modeling problems
  • Train, validate, and package machine learning models
  • Set up pipelines to run AI models
  • Work with development teams to deploy algorithms
  • Document project progress and report to key stakeholders
  • Assist in establishing MLOps best practices
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in machine learning

Your profile

  • MSc/PhD in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • 3 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning
  • Great analytical skills
  • Strong mathematical background in statistics and machine learning
  • Experienced Python programmer
  • Tensorflow/PyTorch
  • Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Proven track record of deploying machine learning algorithms
  • Familiar with medical image processing
  • Knowledge of Agile development is a plus
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
