Project Engineer – Certified Manufacturing

We're looking for a project manager for multiple projects to introduce new products to our certified manufacturing clients by means of additive manufacturing. This job offers an excellent combination of technical aspects, project management, and client contact within a production environment. You will be seated in the front row when it comes to the introduction of new products with customers in various sectors (both large industrial companies and more consumer-oriented companies).

What you will do

  • Build and develop long-term relationships with clients
  • Manage and interpret clients' technical requirements (feasibility study)
  • Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions, including making technical presentations to explain the potential gaps
  • Provide technical assistance and educate customers on additive manufacturing (in the context of a technical request)
  • Prepare quotes for customers according to the valid pricing guidelines
  • Prepare projects for production (e.g., checklists (instructions), measurement report templates, etc.)
  • Active project follow-up of the projects going through the NPI
  • Manage customer complaints
  • Support in negotiating contractual terms and quality supply agreements to meet both customer and company needs
  • Work closely with other team members and actively assimilate and share knowledge
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing sales results and targets

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a technological field or equivalent due to experience
  • Experience with PPAP or APQP processes or similar is a plus
  • You are a team player who likes to work in a team
  • You are self-organized and skilled at setting priorities
  • You are a problem solver, creative, and show initiative
  • You have great communication skills in English and German. Preferably a native German speaker
