Manual Test Engineer


We are looking for a test engineer (manual) for our international company that creates 3D printing software for industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, research, and academia. Materialise was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Belgium, with over 2,300 employees worldwide.

Job description

Implement customer-specific desktop applications (plugins) primarily based on Materialise's main applications, such as 3-matic and Mimics. You will also develop and support AI, UI-less applications for cloud computation for case handling of medical services such as knee, orthopaedics, cranio-maxillofacial, etc. Our products aim to automate customers’ medical workflows, including surgical planning, dental treatment, medical device analysis, etc.

What you will do

  • Create test plans and define test strategy for manual desktop testing.
  • Perform manual testing for desktop applications
  • Report test results according to test plans
  • Create and update release testing documentation
  • Help the product owner create requirements
  • Participate in user needs discussions with customers and your team

Your profile

  • 2+ years of experience in manual testing
  • At least an upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English
  • Open to learning new things, comfortable with various project topics, and supports the Agile way of working
  • Strong interest in the medical field
  • 3D mindset
  • Analytical thinking
  • Excellent team player
