We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic LabVIEW Developer to join Materialise. In this role, you’ll be part of an international team of passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference in medical innovation.

What you will do

  • Join an agile development team responsible for converting its backlog into deployable features
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of these features
  • Contribute to the reduction of bugs and technical debt
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
  • Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills
  • Continually learn to keep skills up to date with fast-changing trends
  • Consider yourself passionate about or interested in 3D printing

Your profile

  • Proven LabVIEW National Instruments experience
  • Experience with LabVIEW FPGA or real-time programming
  • Programming language — C/C++ 2 years
  • Good understanding of memory layout, event-driven architecture, and state machines
  • Good understanding of LabVIEW Design Principles
  • Good understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principles
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Will be a plus

  • Understanding of communication protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, and REST
  • Experience with Python
  • Knowledge of agile development principles 
  • Experience with at least 1 code versioning system (Git, SVN, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills
