Front-End Developer (React)
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our new development team in Medellin, Colombia. You will collaborate daily with our Princeton office in the USA to provide companies with a platform of software tools that manage and control their 3D printing process more efficiently. You will directly impact how we help companies gain control over their manufacturing floors as they scale up their additive manufacturing capabilities. As our growth continues, we need experienced individuals to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed the demands of our clients' fast-growing industrial 3D printing production environments.
What you will do
- Contribute to new software applications as the CO-AM platform expands and matures
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, and readable code that is easy to maintain
- Participate in an agile development team to rapidly design, develop, test, and deploy new features
- Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and English communication skills
- Interact with the product team and customers to understand new functional requirements
- Continually learn to keep skills up to date with fast-changing trends
Your profile
- You are proficient in React and Typescript
- You have knowledge of HTTP standards such as REST
- You have experience with Typescript, CSS, and methodologies like Test Driven Development
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- You are familiar with clean code fundamentals and design patterns and apply Object Oriented Programming concepts
- 4+ years of experience and/or an advanced degree in a relevant field of education
- You are an excellent problem solver
- A broad knowledge of front-end frameworks (Vue, Angular, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with multitier architectures and state management is a plus
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of agile development principles, experience with at least 1 code versioning system (Git, SVN, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies is a plus
- Experience with bundlers such as webpack or rollup is a plus
- Experience working with large code bases spread across multiple teams is a plus
- Experience with other communication protocols such as WebSockets is a plus
