Finance Manager UK

As Finance Manager of Materialise UK, you will oversee the accounting and administration department, give financial support to the business management, and fulfill the financial liaison role with our headquarters.

What you will do

  • Prepare timely financial statements, business activity reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Monitor financial details to ensure legal and accounting requirements are met
  • Optimize and support processes and systems
  • Ensure SOx compliance
  • Supervise employees in the accounting/administrative department, including payroll administration
  • Review company financials and seek ways to optimize profitability
  • The local procurement process
  • Help management make financial decisions
  • Fulfill the liaison role for all financial matters internally and externally (auditors, banks, vendors)
  • Directly report to the Director of Finance Operations based at HQ in Belgium

Your profile

  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
  • Min. 5 years of relevant financial management experience in an international company
  • In-depth GAAP accounting knowledge and experience in a financial closing process
  • Affinity and interest in tax matters
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Track record in successfully supporting business and management
  • Experience in internal control and SOx environments is a plus
