Are you looking for a challenging role where you can investigate state-of-the-art machine learning-based medical image processing methods? Then our research engineer position might be the one for you!

What you will do

  • Scope projects in terms of feasibility and requirements
  • Collect user requirements
  • Analyze modeling problems
  • Train, validate, and package machine learning models
  • Set up pipelines to run AI models
  • Work with development teams to deploy algorithms
  • Document project progress and report to key stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in machine learning

Your profile

  • MSc/PhD in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning
  • Experienced Python programmer
  • Familiar with medical image processing
  • Great analytical skills
  • Strong mathematical background in statistics and machine learning
  • Tensorflow/PyTorch expert
  • Familiar with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Proven track record of deploying machine learning algorithms
  • Knowledge of Agile development is a plus
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
