Account Manager — Software

As part of our industrial software team, the Account Manager will take ownership of driving strategic growth across a targeted US territory, building lasting relationships, and delivering high-value solutions to customers. This is a high-impact role for a motivated sales professional who thrives in complex technical environments and wants to shape the future of additive manufacturing.

What you will do

  • Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities with high-value accounts to drive strategic revenue growth within the territory
  • Proactively engage decision-makers, positioning Materialise solutions as the most impactful choice for their goals
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with key accounts to foster long-term customer loyalty and recurring business
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans, expanding our footprint into new market segments while maximizing existing account potential
  • Represent Materialise at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to increase brand visibility and thought leadership presence
  • Consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales targets while maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts and activity tracking

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business or engineering preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of high-performance technical sales experience with a track record of hunting and closing substantial accounts
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or automotive industries strongly preferred
  • Proven success in software sales, with the ability to address complex customer challenges through tailored proposals
  • Experience selling professional-grade 3D printers, CAD solutions, or technical software strongly preferred
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders in technical and business discussions
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with an aptitude for identifying growth opportunities and expanding account value
  • Highly organized and strategic thinker with creative problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles and accelerate wins
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth objectives
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
