Do you have a flair for customer service?  Are you drawn to the medical device industry?  Then we have the perfect opportunity for you in our Plymouth, MI office.  As a Customer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our OEM partners in Orthopaedics and CMF applications.  Your efforts in coordinating global teams will contribute to successful surgical outcomes. We are willing to train talented candidates in the nuances of supporting our products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide external support to corporate customers via phone and email
  • Provide technical support for customer specific software and websites
  • Support Clinical Engineering team with order processing
  • Image Quality assessment (MRI, CT)
  • Ensure our high quality standards are met throughout the process
  • Interact with Materialise employees internationally



  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in business, engineering or related healthcare administration preferred  
  • 5+ years customer service experience preferred
  • 1-3 years radiology experience a plus
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology a plus
  • Critical thinking/ problem solving skills required
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Highly motivated self starter with excellent organizational ability
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive, Can-Do attitude


Location: Plymouth, MI
