Research Engineer Machine Learning

 

Responsibilities

  • You develop machine learning/deep learning algorithms and infrastructure for medical imaging applications in 2D and 3D medical images.
  • You apply a lean prototyping approach and work on feasibility studies.
  • You keep up with the latest deep learning and big data analysis techniques, especially in the medical imaging field.
  • You will further develop and support the maintenance of our software prototyping framework that is used in the research team.

Requirements

  • You have an MSc or PhD in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Prior experience in Machine Learning / Deep Learning for medical image processing is required. Experience using established libraries such as Tensorflow is a plus.  
  • Familiarity with medical imaging and prior experience working in the medical device field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, allowing you to diagnose complex problems.
  • A passion for new technologies, with the foresight to see how they can support different business needs. 
  • You are pragmatic and flexible in your approach. You use the right techniques to provide the needed quality and detail while avoiding complex solutions.
  • You have strong coding skills (e.g. python, C++) and are able to quickly prototype.
