Key Partner Manager

Responsibilities

  • Managing Key Partners, mainly in the adjacent software spaces, and build and maintain strong, long-lasting relations with them
    • Explore & commercialize new opportunities with existing Partners
    • Hunt & commercialize opportunities with new Partners
  • Collaborate with Key Partners on long-term strategy as it pertains to 3D printing, design, and manufacturing
    • Create and maintain strategic plan
    • Drive the overall results for the Key Software Partners
    • Detect, share, and drive opportunities with the Key Software Partners to increase our solutions footprint within these Partners’ solutions
  • Be innovative in ways to increase value for the Key Software Partners and their customers, with an eye on the joint value proposition (1+1=3)
  • Work closely with the Product and Market teams to match the correct technology and devise the best solutions for the Partners
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit
  • Perform any other sales related actions in order to sustain the sales team activity
  • Support the Key Partners in training and supporting their sales organizations where needed to help ensure success of the combined solution
  • Act as primary contact and go-between between Key Partner’s organization and Materialise Product and Sales teams

Requirements

  • Ability to develop and build strong business and personal relationships
  • Excellent communication, listening and presenting skills
  • Strong software/technical skills, combined with strong commercial acumen and ability to sell
  • Strong diplomacy, negotiation, closing, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to be proactive and seek out and generate opportunities
  • Ability to be creative and think ‘out-of-the-box’ along with the partners
  • Ability to operate as a team player and, moreover, act as a leader towards the rest of the internal teams across departments and geographies
  • Prior experience in a technical-commercial role with a software vendor
  • Clear understanding of the broader manufacturing software market (CAx, ERP, MES, …) desired
  • Understanding of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing software is a plus
  • Mastering English, French and Dutch. Any other language is an extra asset
