The Position

 

RS Print is a Materialise company that combines RS Print and RSscan technology under one roof, offering a comprehensive suite of solutions to optimize physical comfort, health and performance for individuals and healthcare professionals worldwide.

Our Production Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the production team (currently 4 people) by guiding them, by establishing and managing good relationships with subcontractors around the globe, and by working closely with the CEO to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies for production.

Qualifications & Experience

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Taking responsibility for managing, organizing and planning all production activities, and to formulating proposals for the optimization of strategic production capabilities, within the frameworks of prescribed safety and quality standards
  • Implementing strategies and action plans to reduce both lead time for the customers and operational costs
  • Developing plans for the international expansion of our production facilities, taking into account both centralized and decentralized options.
  • Developing a high-performance production team; attracting, recruiting and retaining required members of the team not currently in place; providing mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program
  • Anticipating on volume increases, based on the business plan, and planning the production capacity accordingly

 

 

Requirements

 

 

  • Proven experience in production management positions
  • Experience in developing strategies and implementing vision
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills
  • Hands-on and a real team player
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch, any additional language is a strong asset
