The hospital software market is a critical focus of the Materialise Medical division, where you support leading hospitals and physicians implement clinical planning and 3D Printing solutions, work closely with strategic industry and academic partners and help shape the future of healthcare with 3D technology.
You are the driving force behind the growth of our software business in hospitals in the EU and APAC markets, by translating our global strategy to the regional market reality. You are closely collaborating with the global hospital Product Marketing Manager to align the global and regional strategy and tactics. You are part of the Research and Engineering product marketing team, with whom you work closely together to address customer needs across markets.
Qualifications & Experience
Go-to-sales & go-to-market EU/APAC
― You assure to give clear direction to the sales organization about how (define clear criteria) to segment the market and which segments to target.
― You assure the sales organization is provided with the tools and information that allows them to appropriately communicate the product value proposition to potential customers
― You assure the sales organization is appropriately trained about the product clinical and technical characteristics and commercial messaging.
― You monitor and guide the performance of sales organization, in the realization of the sales efforts and results as set in the product business plan.
― You define a product price strategy in line with market specific situations. Next to that you monitor the markets (supported by the market access manager) in order to understand reimbursement or financing options and define a plan to develop this.
― You work with the marketing communication team on the development of marketing messages and materials to support the sales team in their Go-To–Market actions.
― You plan, coordinate and guide the implementation of new product launches or new market launches
― You contribute to the development of new and improved commercial approaches that can be used across the entire product portfolio.
Collaborations & Networking in EU/APAC
― You identify key hospitals and clinicians, initiate contacts together with sales teams. This in order to support building a KOL network in the regions.
― From your understanding of the field and the Materialise strategy, you seek for synergetic collaboration opportunities.
― You manage relationships with strategic industry partners in the 3D Printing and medical imaging sectors, including setting up contracts and follow-up on defined KPI’s.
― You are an ambassador for Materialise Medical and as an evangelist, can spread the word both internally as well as externally.
― You identify key conferences for the market and coordinate with marketing communications an effective presence. Next to that you engage with special interest groups or national 3D printing societies in order to influence the market evolution and future trends.
Product Marketing strategy & roadmap
― Together with the global hospital PM manager, You define and update the product business plan and roadmap based on prioritizing those product developments and commercial initiatives that have most impact on the products short and long-term commercial potential.
― Based on the input from sales, research & development and customers, you initiate study and analysis on functional improvements, market/customer evolutions and competitive developments that could be addressed in future versions of your product(s) or that could lead to new products.
You have a master’s degree in science / engineering and/or in strategic marketing
You hold a proven track record of strategic market development or have similar relevant experiences to show us.
You demonstrate the necessary skills and insights to develop marketing and market strategies.
Your network skills are well-developed, you can easily enter new environments.
Your presentation and communication skills are top notch, with these skills set you can easily convince your stakeholders.
You have a can-do mentality, an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive mindset.
You are willing to travel up to 20% to support the global sales team.
