Simplify geometry preparation for FEA/CFD even further
We’ve adapted existing operations and implemented new functionality to enable the processing and remeshing of non-manifold assemblies and T-connections. These additions significantly widen the range of applications for our Remesh technology. 3-matic now also provides mesh optimization solutions for:
- Models composed of different materials
- Assemblies of intersecting parts
- Designs combining solid elements with zero-thickness elements like sheet metal
- Working with surface sets and surfaces has never been easier, thanks to operations enhancements like separating and merging that now maintain the existing surface structure.
Complete your projects effortless and swiftly
- A major objective for this new version was to make the software even more intuitive:
- Take advantage of multiprocessing with several operations that now offer multi-processor support.
- The improved hollow and wrap operations are faster, more accurate and consume less memory. This will produce even better results and provide greater detail in your projects.
- You can specify the desired accuracy for the conversion of context curves to sketch curves instead of changing the sketch’s accuracy temporarily.
- You can convert your part into point cloud with a single click in the context menu.
- 3-matic 4.1 is fully compatible with Windows Vista.
