Small test series to finetune your design

Car speakers component for Philips to be functionally tested inside different cars

Imagine how much money you could save by performing all your initial tests on a limited number of components before going to production.

Depending on the complexity and the specific applications of your product, our team of experts will advise you to turn to the technology that exactly meets your needs.

This could either be a rapid prototyping technology - selective laser sintering or fused deposition modelling - or one of our copying techniques - vacuum casting, R.I.M. or injection mould tooling.

Many of our customers have seen the advantages of ordering the first products in smaller amounts to perform all kinds of different tests on. This allows to finetune the design before investing in expensive moulds and before starting up a whole production line.

Materialise played an important role in the development process of the RESQTEC tools. Thanks to the first vacuum casting parts we were able to do some vital design changes before the final production stage and consequently could avoid a lot of unnecessary production costs. Not yet experienced in plastics, we have much appreciated Materialise’s thorough technological support and their contribution to the final material choice.
