Others want to have their patient’s treatment plans prepared for them while they free up time to accept more patients. And still others don’t yet own software, but nevertheless want to perform guided surgery. There’s a solution for every one of them.

Whether new to guided implant treatment or a seasoned user, clinicians’ planning assistance requests are handled in a highly personalized manner. Whether clinicians want to be guided all the way during live PlanAssist sessions or want their treatment plan delivered ready-made so they only have to approve it, full-fledged and tailored treatment planning service is provided upon request.

Treatment planning assistance…From scan, to plan, to guide

From scan
Depending on the treatment plan and patient anatomy, a tailored SurgiGuide^® is selected together with the PlanAssist engineer. Clinicians are guided through any preparatory steps necessary for obtaining an accurate scan. From single or small partially edentulous cases, to complex esthetics or large partially edentulous cases, to totally edentulous cases, easy-reference guidelines apply to each of these clinical indications. As soon as the scan is ready, the clinician is assisted in ordering the conversion of the CT images into a 3D file.


To plan
Drawing the nerve, creating Virtual Teeth to visualize the most ideal alignment of underlying implants, evaluating bone density, placing the implants while taking into account the position of the nerve or adjacent teeth and implants, selecting preferred implants and abutments…On top of detailed prosthetic and anatomical considerations, the treatment plan is prepared taking into account specific needs and wishes.


To guide
Upon finalization of the treatment plan, the clinician and PlanAssist engineer follow the necessary steps to order the SurgiGuide^® online, and Materialise Dental takes care of the SurgiGuide^® order follow-up.
