Software solutions

The BatchConvert module provides a fully automatic mechanism to convert hundreds of files from mixed geometry sources (CAD as well as faceted formats) into watertight models. The batch process includes automatic geometry repair, cleaning and mesh decimation, making manual geometry clean-up time two to five times faster, and reducing file size.

3-matic enables:

• Automated loading and repair of multiple CAD files in one session 
• Variety of CAD files can be combined into one file 
• Semi convex wrapping
• Zone preservation options to convert CAD file names into mesh zone names 
• mesh optimization and inspection

The files can be exported as stl files or 3-matic projects, but an export as Fluent files is available as well.
The CAD file formats that can be handled by the batch convert module depend on the file formats that are available through the conversion software.
